Video recently captured by Hexus.tv (http://www.hexus.tv) at the i29 LAN Event in the UK has been released for us all to see. Featured in the video is a presentation, including a Q&A session, for Crysis. The men running the presentation are Sebastian Spatzek (QA Manager of Crytek) and Ben O’Donell (EA). Not bad.... luv the video.
Noticed tho that they refused to give eny hardware
details. I bet thats the big corparations doing.
Since whatever they say could and probably would influance your next PC rig. Wich would probably have them in hot water with some big companies.
Wich in total sucks.. but not a bad vid.:D

Oh...really? I gave it 5 minutes and since it didn't load up I thought there was a problem with my browser. I'l try again in a couple of minutes.

I was using firfox, it loaded some kind of ad, played that, then took forever to load the real video.
Just look at the load bar on the video, its next to the play, pause buttons, it should be moving up very slowly, its like a 15 minute long video.
If it still does not work let me know and Ill save it and send it to you over xfire.

Finally watched it. The level looks pretty good, can't believe it's just a fraction of the real thing (can't wait to see the completed level now). I liked how he took the road and suddenly found himself in a jungle environment.
I don't know if the suit will be changed, but in my opinion the speed is a tad too fast. I would like to see how that would look in game. I mean, would the animation look like some heavy sprinting, or would it look as if the soldier was hovering. Would be very interesting to see.
Another thing I would point out, was the fact that they might be fooling us with this "destructable environment" feature. Reaper and I were talking about this, and so far it looks like you are going to be able to shoot down plants and small buildings (like wooden houses). If you pay attention to all the videos released so far, all they do is shoot down palm trees (he even punched one! ).This is great, don't get me wrong, but it isn't a fully interactive environment like they have promised.
Like always, I guess "only time will tell"

It plays an ad first, then starts loading up the video and it takes forever.
If it does not work just download it with the download links underneath the video box.

Some good questions answered, some worrying questions unanswered, especially the hardware spec, their commitment to making it a 'clannable' game & destroyable environments. I know some cooperations like Intel/AMD will obviously be in conjunction with them over the minimum and required specifications, but a few numbers wouldn't of hurt :)
Although those two guys weren't too confident at some points over some answers, its a project in development still so i'll let it slide, great presentation :D
Keep the interesting news coming [MyIS]!
