Got lumber? We got hummers!
Nice caption, and cool pic. I wonder if the trees on the ground are destructible. Otherwise the lighting reminds me of Oblivion, but it looks awesome.

I came in your pants too
Edit: figure I should add more this post.
You know I look at this picture and wonder how LONG it would take me to just play the singleplayer, because I'll be stuck just looking around enjoying the scenery, like I did when Farcry came out...and like I do occasionally in Oblivion when I'm just dicking around and not zapping people.
I dunno if it's been mentioned as I haven't been reading up on this game at all lately (christmas season + job = no life after thanksgiving, infact my supervisor just tried to call me to ask if I could come in and work...I didn't answer, thank you caller ID) but will there be weather effects? I don't mean just rain and snow, but WIND, from anything heavy, to just a gentle breeze. With all that foliage it would prove to be interesting, you'd wonder if it would even confuse the AI and help you sneek around more.

yes. i do believe there will be wind in crysis, in fact i have heard that they might be putting some cool weather events like tornadoes and lightning storms, Imagine seeing a cyclone in the distance ripping up every bit of vegitation and tossing it around wow i can't wait for this game....they haven't confirmed it for multiplayer but i would think they would put some cool weather events in singleplayer

I do believe that would be one of the most awesome spectacles I'd ever see in a game.

Lovely pic but I still see some blurring.
Will DX10 allow total sharpness or is some blur inevitable?

according to some interviews, the depth of field and motion blur can be turned off.
I wonder if the motion blur can be adjusted in the same fashion as a movie camera (whether with angles ala film, or ratios ala digital). It'd be fun to achieve a saving private ryan style motional blur (or lacking there of) in the game.

Tornado.. Hmm.. Think about a weapon that allows you to create tornadoes in game :D.
I wish I knew the system requirements for this game, I'm getting a new PC so it should run Crysis well.. :)

I think a lot of us are saving up for pc's or pc parts with Crysis in mind.
