Hi guys i recently bought BF2142 and am already starting to feel bored as part of my new venture it online gaming i am going to buy Quake Wars and Crysis.

I wouldnt mind if you could answer a few questions if you have any time:

1)This is online yes?
2)Whats the actual story, does this carry on from Far Cry which i didnt play?
3)Can you post any of the videos for me to see?
4)Minimum Spec have not been released yet but it is possible i could play this game maxed out if i can play HL2, CSS and Bf2142 maxed out?
5)Can you suggest anything else i may need to know?
6)When is the "speculated" release date?

Thanks for your time and hope to get to know this game very well.

1 -yes There will be 4 game modes, Tactical Death match, Tactical TDM, Tactical CTF, and power struggle. Click here for more info.

2- An alien meteor has hit near north Korea, and delta force is sent in to investigate, then, out of the meteor comes a huge freeze dome, everything within this dome is froze, and the game physics change to this new environment.

The game takes place in 3 different environments, The NK jungle, frozen jungle, and inside the alien ship which is zero gravity.

At first you are fighting the NK's for the meteor but once the aliens come out you team up with them.

3- Just go to the main page and download the videos from the 3 most recent news posts minus the one about the ads for myis.

4 - They are saying if you have a good rig by todays standard that you will be able to run crysis, as far as how good there is no information, it does not take a lot to run HL2, BF2142 maxed out, so I am guessing that no, you will not be able to run it maxed out, this game looks 20 times better then them and has much more going on with physics, so its going to take a lot more to run it on all high, the game will be threaded for dual core and quad core cpus.

6- Earliest is Q3 of this year so at the earliest may but probably wont be till July or August, plenty of time to save up for a new or very upgraded rig.

In multiplayer, in power struggle at least, you play as Korea and us delta force. As far as DM I do not know.

If go to the total crysis home page, and look to the left, there is plenty of info in those links, I typed it up so if there are questions just ask.

A little incorrect. It depends if you choose directx 9 or directx 10 to play with, if your using directx 9 then you should be able to play on high settings, on directx 10 then its a whole new story because no one knows how well of a pc you will need along with a directx 10 card, plus you'll need windows vista

Cool! this game looks WAY beyond sweet. 2 more questions:

1. So, does this game connect or continue from FarCry in any way?

2. Judging from my PC specs below, do you think I'll be able to run it anywhere near the graphics we're seeing? (I can max out BF2142 and Half Life 2)

It has no ties with FarCry itself. They just like the jungle setting so thus we are getting it again in this game.

ok, cool, no connection to FarCry except same developer.

I really hope my comp can play it on graphics close to what we are seeing.
