I have my computer set up so that the drive that the primary windows folders and stuff (OS related) are stored on a 10gb hd. Now the HD is almost full, and I want to patch the game to the latest version.

its a no-go, not enough space supposedly.

I would like to reinstall bf2 to a different directory (say, another partition or HD) but last time I tried that, the patching didnt work.

any ideas or tricks?

thanks
Jeddeh.

I have BF2 and all of my other games installed to my E: drive. I haven't run into any issues because of the letter in front of the directory...

by coincidence, windows is installed to E:

so is bf2.

would it be wise to uninstall bf2 from the windows drive and reinstall and try to patch to a larger hd?

No problems with this.
I run a 20GB C drive. Also a 30GB partition for my music and the other 200GB for everything else.
75GB Raptor drive for my games.

I've windows and program files on C drive
and the paging files run on the 200GB partition.
All games are on the raptor.

click on start key
Right click on my computer
then left click on manage
you can assign any unused letter you want for your drives here.
