I'm all for crysis, i'm practically getting a new rig for it, however... That video looked a little tooooo unrealisitc for my taste. I mean the character was running WAY to fast and jumping WAY to high, does anyone else see this??
Or is it just me?

yeah, he is wearing a suit that makes him able to do that. plus in most of the videos the player is playing in god mode.

I might be wrong, but I remember hearing that there will be limited power to your supersuit. Meaning that what was shown in the video (killing a whole bunch of enemies using only superpowers) will probably be something you can do only once in a while.
I don't know if the suit recharges over time, or by fragging, but in any case, you won't be able to play the entire game like that. The movie was probably intended to show the possibilities of the suit quickly.

I don't really care too much if it's unrealistic or not. It's a game, pure fantasy. I mean 2142 is unrealistic, BF2 is unrealistic. It's not a game based on any actual historical event (future based in addition.)
I would rather have this than another WW2 FPS game. I think they have already beat that genre to death thoroughly.
At this point I think we should consider ourselves lucky to a large extent and hope that we can get LOTS of missions/maps to keep the game alive for a long time.

You do have to recharge after a short time. It's does not last like several minutes.

Right, I am all for unrealistic as well. It's just that looked a little too unrealistic. I didn't know that he was in god mode, that definetly reassures me but I did know that the suit was making him do that.

The only reason I am looking forward to this game is because the nano suit can be built (eventually) and it's not another ww2 or star wars type game and because it's not way in the future (face it, we're doomed in 70 years from now ;) )

I'm happy to have another unrealistic game, ArmA is all i need for realism. Also i love the way, this might sound strange, you kill the people. It reminds me of half life 2, fast paced and good rag doll physics. In my opinion Half Life 2 had the greatest combat i have ever played! And this looks similar so i am happy.

Does anyone know if you start out with the nano-suit in multiplayer or if you have to buy it as an item? Someone told me it will be a buyable item but it will cost a lot, like the cost of a vehicle. I hope not everyone just starts out with it, would hate to see everyone just super jumping around or running super fast directly out of spawn.

No you get a basic one at first, i think, or you ahve to buy a basic one which is cheap but you can buy the really expensive one (the cost of something like a tank). The expensive one has the abilites of the single player one.
I am uncertain if you keep the some of your equipment if you die. I don't think you will keep your vehicals, but maybe your wepon attachments, could really suck if you have to buy all new wepon addons everytime. But it might also be a good thing.

Yeah I hope you don't have to rebuy all of your equipment everytime you die. But I know you have to rebuy any vehicles you destroy, in the Computer Gaming World article I always refer to, the developer they are talking to says the vehicles are an "investment". And critiques other games such as Battlefield where vehicles are "throwaway things".
I also hope not everyone gets the nano-suit right off the bat. Even if it is a basic one. =/

What else would it be then if not the suit...
Seriously, do you see EVERY soldier running like that? Or is it just a coincidence that the only one that can jump 8 feet into the air is the guy in the suit.

Actually its quite realistic to be able to do those things with a nano-suit. Nano-technology is a real thing being developed in modern day and the potential capabilities surpass those even in Crysis.
