Should the speed show on the speedometer (or whatever) inside the car?

You know when you get inside the car and you see that circular shape that gives the speed (in which i forgot the name), and it doesn't show your speed. Should it show?

Yes of course, plus the cars go so slow specially the HMMVW on karkand and some cars cant even go up the smallest hills

One of the first things I noticed when clambering into one of the FAV's in the demo on Gulf of Oman was that none of dials worked, not even the tachometer :(

It would have been a nice effect.

ok, showing your speed on the speedometer with bf2's engine is (if not) nearly impossable. Its like adding good consumer support, its impossable.

I would like to see the speedo, so you know when you are thrashing round a map in a jeep or something you can see how fast you are actually going. like sir. snipers0 said it is '(if not) nearly impossable'

Ya but the speedometer would be tight tho, and your right the textures would have to be on high, plus it could semi lag you down because its one more thing you need graphic memory for.

To me it wouldn't matter if it took up a little or allot of resources or FPS. It still affects it and I would rather put that towards the game instead of a needle... I don't know about you but I never look down... Too busy driving.

Meters would be nice, but HOW ABOUT SOME FRICKEN HANDS FOR STARTERS. Honestly, is my dude driving with his knees? The wheel does move, but is my guy on his cellphone, eating while driving, or holding his hands out the top like a real slow rollercoaster?

We should also be able to give the cars a dyno test to see their maximum horsepower... Honestly guys this is a game about war not a racing game. Speed shouldent matter.
