Hey. Broken Eggs are going to be doing a Podcast on this game. I'm lucky enough to be chosen as one of the hosts, so basically, what do the Total Crysis members want?

How fast you die, as in can a guy with a machine gun mow you down in almost no time or can you take a hit. I mean in multiplayer mostly.

That would be nice to know. Halo vs Call of Duty.

I'd be interested to see what they're doing to make the game more compatible on older computers. Let's face it, not everybody has an Intel Conroe and a 8800GTX do they? So obviously they can't aim the game at a very small audience - EA will definately of made them make it compatible for less powerful computers.
After having a bit of a brainwave, I'd also like to know what they are including that will aid teamwork. In BF2142, we have the Spawn Beacons, Squad Leader spawns, and so on - but waht will there be in Crysis that will help us work together as a team.
Will it be more Counter Strike where you just run around like a headless chicken, or will it be more Battlefield orientated? Will there be a commander or squad leader?

Well i think if you shoo the stuff long enough it falls down and then you shoot them. -I am not being sarcastic either in one video it said that is how they make it so cover is not always there and you have to move, because people can destroy it.

It shows the lad punching the walls down too, so I do assume there is some sort of penetration tactic.

Yh but when you see the village video the helo can't shot hte guy in the buliding might just be because it would over powe the helo if he could or it might be for them all.

I think they're trying to improve on the inbalances of BF2, not directly - but there is definately evidence of it.
If a Helo could shoot through buildings easily, imagaine how annoyed we'd become after only two or three minutes of constant bullet spam...

To be honest, i'd prefer a kick to a punch when knocking down a door or whatever.
But, getting killed by a falling tree would be awesome.

Thats exactly waht i thought, if you can already blow apart the buildings then you shouldn't be able to shoot threw them as well.

Balance is great, but I don't want it dead horizontal if you get me?
As a 100% infantry player anyway, I don't use vehicles at all in any game - I like the idea of being stuck in a building with a lad on your own team, and having to fight off incoming attackers.

If a Helo could shoot through buildings easily, imagine how annoyed we'd become after only two or three minutes of constant bullet spam...To a point, but I would hardly call it bullet "spam". The average guy on the battlefield wont waste his ammo to shoot every building despite them not knowing if anyone is inside. It is useful, but spamming bullets is just wasteful and would not work well.
On the other hand if a guy is taking cover behind a 1cm thick piece of wood, I think he should get what he deserves. :)

Yes but remeber the map with the warehouses that have objectives in side. Small area could easily slaughter a couple of guys with just soem lucky shots, especially if you can predict the most obvious positions for them to hide in.
