Crysis. Your thoughts.

We all know that Crysis looks absolutely sexy, but do you think the gameplay will be able to match up to the graphics?

I think it'll be an awesome game.

TBH not enough is known about the gameplay right now. I would still like to know if you die fast (like CoD2 compared to Halo2; I would want CoD2 style) and if vehicles will be like BF2 vehicles (Please no J-10!). I would like to see infantry-vehicle balance like BF2142; vehicles are powerful, but infantry can manage to take them out.

I think SP gameplay will be great though. Lots of replay value :nod:.

I want teamwork, definately. I couldn't stand having such amazing graphics but rubbish teamwork.
I think a friends system like that of 2142 or Steam would be good too.

The gameplay looks like half life 2 not as good story but awsome intense combate and alot more realistic than halflife 2, i loved the way in haflife a body would drop like a sack of ****. This looks the same but you look like you can acctually be killed.

just cause I can I think that nobody who thinks the game will not be good in any way would even bother going to this forum so everyone would vote this game of 2007-3007 right now.

I think alot of the people buying Crysis will be Ex-BF players, so they'll be used to teamplay and tactics - so maybe Crytek will want to try and include as much team orientated play as possible, because they want to keep the vast majority of the target audience happy.
There's nothing more fun than a squad of five or six, raping the enemy because of your Sk1llz

Yeah.. Like on BF2142 with a good squad and an airtransport.. maybe like 1 death and 70 kills on the end of a round.. XD If you can have squads and things in Crysis that would be awesome!

I imagine you will. I see this as a future Vietnam type war game, with all the dense forest.

Secret North Korean plot? This game is going to be great. I loved Far Cry and although it will be different i think it has the same core values. Game play, top-of-the-line graphics, and re playability. Im still installing Far Cry every month or two, lol.
