I will get it about a week before from where its cheapest. I remember some idiots I know preordered a game 1 year before it came out and the price went down £10 between then and when it released!! So I got the game at the same time as him (same website) and spent £10 less, my god he was pissed.

Preorder ships 9/4/07 means people who preordered it will have it shipped on that date.

On the german amazon page it says that it will prolly be sent to me sometime in end of June.
Im sure it will change later on. I pay €54,99 which currently is $75.02 or £37.52.

im gonna stick this out there...i think once people play and see that theres probley hundreds(or maybe just like 50ish) of ways to complete a mission or a objective in crysis they wont play to many other games with out it having the choice to complete the mission or objective the way they want to. and i dont mean run&gun or stealthy but like if you want to just kill this helicopter a certain way to see it spiral out of control and smash in a funny way because you wanted it to..or you just wanna throw rocks at people till you kill them or just get in a truck and sit at a top of a hill and just mow Everything down with the .50 cal or jump around like a bunny rabbit and punch everything and everyone...well use your imagination the list will go one.

You listed my BF2 dreams which never became true. They abandoned the game just like a prostitute gets an abortion. (weird example eh... :D) Everything is for the money. Hope Crysis isn't like that.

Sad but true. We have a bunch of taxes that are being calculated in but thats no problem for us. If things cost more than in country X we have more money to spend than country X so thats okay I guess.

Yeah, it's becoming standard for us europeans to pay increasingly high prices...kinda lame.
To give you an example: before the Euro, we in Holland used to have guilders.
A typical new videogame would cost 90 guilders. Now, they're almost always around 60 euros.
Considering 1 euro was supposed to be 2.20371 guilders, we are now suddenly paying 132 guilders. That's almost 50% overpricing....bloody retailers:p

I'm planning on buying an US version anyways. In germany they leave out blood and everything thats fun because they want to have a specific rating for people that are 16 or 18 something. I preordered via amazon but I can cancel it at any time. Lets see what the beta/demo brings :)

I hope it comes late in the year, because:
1. I want a complete game, or nearly complete, I'm not the guy crying when theres one tiny bug, but it should just be normal playable
2. I want to play etqw in the summer :D
3. I need a new pc and I'm an AMD-Fan->gonna buy a ATI and I wait for the barcelonas and the later crysis comes, I less have to play with my old machine. :)

I agree with metaretron, except for point 1.
It's become standard practice to say "oh at least we'll get a really polished game" whenever something comes out later than expected.
I think that's pretty lame:p
What is indicating that Crysis were to be a bad bug-ridden game if it were to be released earlier?
This just happens to be the date that the developers think the game will be done. For us customers, how far the game is in development is irrelevant; for us there is only release, and the time after that when we play the game.
Therefore, I think the "delays are good, because you get better games"-logic is wrong. If that were true, Duke Nukem Forever would have to be t3h 1337est game ev0r. Probably not so.

My point is that Crysis will not be any better a game if it is released in september, than if the developers had been on schedule and released it in Q1 2007.

The worst part is that, they left Bf2 with so many errors that its not even funny. :cry:

Firippu EATS spam for breakfast. On the other note i hope Crysis is nothing like bf2 also. I just hope it has elements of what bf2 would and could have been. Bugs and glitches aside. Originally the massive expansion that would add huge vehicle intensive levels and such. But from the looks of it I'm not too worried about crysis. It looks pretty dang good.

For those who think that BF2's engine is buggy, think again. Compare it to Flight Sim X and see the difference. That game is buggier than a room fool of cockroaches. I even thought that BF2 was buggy until the moment I played Flight Sim. ;)
