Project Reality ECGN server(US)

ECGN has started up a Project Reality Mod server, its based in Virginia, USA.
64 players and all the maps at this point in time. We are open to any new ideas or different than ours. If you want to share your ideas or thoughts do it here or at http://ECGNetwork.com

i hope you have a nice pipe/box for that 64 server.... PR can be much more demanding than vanilla bf2....

Well lets hope so because that box did handle over 128 player slots for Vanilla when it was one of our rented boxes.
Lets hoep we got the pipe for it. we will see.

Well its starting up now,
Denmark/Norway/Finland/Sweden seem to ping at about 100-120
Russia 140-160.
Czech Republic about 160
France 135-150
UK 90-100+
Poland 115-120
Austria - 125
Estonia 115-120

Just so you know someone was on earlier today from Australia, he had a 351 ping, and I believe we autokick for 350+.
Sorry mates, if you guys want to convince us that you can play at that ping we could possibly move it up a bit.

We typically get the server started around Noon(NYC time). lasts till about 2am(NYC).

It is unranked, it has been since it was changed to our PRM server. We forgot to unclick the ranked part of it in BF2CC, it is fixed now. Come join us for some games.

Played it last night, very nice. I live in the Midwest and my ping hovered in the 30's and 40's.

Problem: spawn times are causing tons of nooblet behaviour. Medics CANNOT revive in such short period.

Solution: increase spawn times to a more decent level.

We changed the spawn times Saturday Morning to 30 seconds.

i was playing on it last night, fun time. im really new to prm so its tough but fun as hell and i was rocking a 7 ping the whole time. so far the only server ive been on that i didnt have lag, im sure most of its my pc lag though...

I'd like to thanks everyone who has visited ECGN to play some PRM.

This Friday at 8PM EST(NYC time) we are having a Battle of the regulars. About 30 regulars have came over to play PRM rather than BF2 so we are opening it up to other forums to come join us. We have a sign up thread going over at ECGN.com, you can sign up there or if you simply let me know in this area I will sign you up.

You will need Ventrilo for this event! As the password will be given on our vent server.
