Which do you think is better the F-15 or the SU-30? Why do you think that?

If you dont know what each of them are then dont post, this question is really more for the pilots.

I think the SU-30 is better because its got vectored thrust which makes it able to turn faster.

In the game, or in real life?

In either F-15E Strike Eagle. It's the descendant of one of the best air superiority fighters in the world (F-15C).

In game, F15 is the WORST jet of them all. Su30 can compete with the F18 with having a very high chance of killing it, and it can smoke F35Bs with ease. No wonder its featured in only one map.

As for Su30 in real life, didnt they have a simulation in India against F15s and US pilots? I may be wrong here, but I remember that F15 were "smoked".

i would put my money on the F15C for ATA combat and the F15E for ground attack. so, my vote goes to the F15.

I'm an all American guy baby, F-15's all the way!

However the Sukhois are, in reality, great aircraft. They can push the limits of what our aircraft both can and can't do.

But in the game, Su-30 royally owns the F-15E, but hey, what's new. PLA and MEC always have the advantage.

IRL the F15 is still the shiznit, however, YES. Cope India. The results of these exercises have been disappointing for the US over the last few years. Absolutely no excuse for the results, but typically in these exercises the US pilots face adversaries while outnumbered (3:1). There is also speculation that pilots are "holding back" as way to clearly show congress that more funds need to be made available for moving to the next generation fighters. The F15 is a fantastic fighter and has been retrofitted many times over, however, it's basic design is quite old now --- the exercises are demonstrating it's near the end of it's air superiority lifespan, and the air superiority gap the US maintains has dwindled without moving to the next gen fighters.
