Does anyone else hate it when you toss a grenade into an enemy position, and you see the bodies soar up in a nice parabolic path, as if they were floating? Far Cry was like this, I could blow a mercenary up that was 20 feet in front of me, and run by him before he touched the ground.
From the looks of it, Crysis is half and half, but I like the physics that sends shrapnel flying at your face. What do you guys think?

You mean the 100m high flight of bodys getting hit by artillery? ;)

i know what you mean too. the source engine has some of the most realistic gravity physics to date.

Let me remind you to too realistic is bad. :)
The Source Engine is definitely the best engine I have seen so far. It's actually been tuned to the small details, and lots of developers could learn from what VALVe have done with it.

In garrys mod the gravitational physics are horrible. Everythign just sort of floats to the ground most things dont really fall. But in half life 2 on the same engine most of the physics are good. Except the gunship crashing. That is super slow also. It's very random.
