Progressive slowing?

when i first got this game when it came out, it ran perfect, as time went on it began to run slower and slower, now rounds start off super laggy, go smooth for about 5 minutes then begin to chop where i can only move once every 3 seconds or so. How do i fix this?

1.81ghz

1gb ram

wat video card do u have and wat settings do u have?

and try doing the basic optimizations: spyware scans, adware scans, virus scans, and Defragging

GeForce 6600 and all settings on high

it runs perfectly smooth when i play single play or create my own server with loads of bots.

wow..i have like the same setup as u except with a 6800gt and i cant play all high without massive stuttering/fps drops

Turn off all background processes........as you havent got the most RAM. Once this is used the game will access the HD to use the pagefile...If this is fragmented this could be adding to the woe...Defrag the HD and make sure pagefile is in 1 chunk
