OK my friend installed bf2 and he was finish with installing. he puts his BF2 disc 1 in and pressed Bf2 on his desktop and the screen turns black for one second and shows the desktop again. i think he needs a new video card or something can anyone help him

Check any anti-virus software. Many times the software has a "allow / deny" list for programs. Make sure BF2 is allowed.

A while back I had the same problem. I realized that when I started BF2, my anti-virus shut it off but then something conflicted with the software so both ended up crashing leaving me with just my desktop.

lol dude....you laptop can't handle it thats all.

If u know it can for sure..mean u know the specs when lower then resolution of your screen and try again...i had that couple times.

if you supplied the laptop maker/model,

but i would guess that it has onboard Intel Graphics which isnt supported by BF2

Go to "Start" --> Run --> Type in dxdiag --> Tell us what you see there.

It should have the specs
