ive been looking for a good mod to play on the BF2 engine for a few days now and i've *** across the project reality mod. i looked on the website and saw that it included a british infantry which made me wanna download it straight away coz i am an infantryman in the british army however i just wanted 2 hear directly from people who play it whether its anygoodbecause i dont wanna waste a few hours downloading a nea 2gig file if its pants.

You should give any mod a try that you can. Its free, and you already have the internet connection, so why not?

I did not enjoy it, and I tried it many times. Then again, I really enjoyed battlepaint, so trust your own opinions first.

when you say that do you mean the game crashes alot/doesnt work or just that your pc cannot handle it????

all you have to do is install it, launch it with the icon on your desktop and join a server... its as simple as that.

the game crashes hardly any more than normal BF2 dose.

we've not had any reports of people not being able to run the mod.

we have had reports of people suffering from lag cuz we have some performance issues to address.

But from a broad experience perspective, your statement is false and gives a false impression of the mod.

Some folks have difficulty getting it to run sometimes, typically its just lowering a setting here or there, or setting Terrain to Medium for Ejod Desert. Any players that had trouble are now running the mod and really enjoying it.

if you like teamwork orientated gameplay that favors realistic tactics, then youll enjoy project reality.

if your looking more for arcade shootem up death match, then PR might not be for you.

yeah, your experience in the TA will have you appreciating the added realism variables in PR. Just ask how many staff and players of the mod are serving or ex british military (or other nations military)

at the moment, the british models dont look that spectacutlar when u r not running high textures, but the gameplay really makes up for that
