The Battlefield 40k (http://www.battlefield40k.com/index.php) mod team is back today with a new update. Here's what they had to say about their BF2 mod version:
Sorry for the long silence in news for our mod. Hawk is working on a CGI intro movie for the mod. and has been doing some nice CGI still renders for the mod. Hayes is having problems creating working custom first person hands to go in game on our infantry models. Thats why on all the first person weapons you see at the moment have no hands showing. Wezil one of our new members gained entry to our dev team through his work on the Tau EMP grenade and the current work in progress Tau Drone turret. Mycatfield returns to work soon from his break, he has been able to update and resolve some of the issues that are resident in the marine model.
BF40K : BF2
Inaith is currently working on alpha 0.70 thanks to the help of SRM clan we now have a server version that works on linux. He is currently having problems in coding anti grav vehicles. When one tries to drive over a static (a bridge for instance) it can't move. We are still waiting on more models to be finished for this version. We are lacking wrecked models for many vehicles and we still have a lot more work in art terms to do to the infantry.
