i LOVE the sound of this mod, it looks gr8 and from the sound would be AMAZING for me to play as i love realistc games and love squad tactics , im always making squads on pub play called "VoIP" and "use a mic" to try get some guys together for teamwork... but i thought bf2 would be all teamwork and it wasnt , what makes ppl on this mod use teamwork and is it used alot ? any 1 got any gd vids of pub play to show this ?

I can definitely be hit and miss wrt teamwork heh. Any old school guys are typically teamwork oriented, but newer players still have a bit too much "vanilla" to their tactics.

Some servers are better than others.

In terms of what the mod does to encourage teamwork.. well.. uh.. basically it kinda sucks without it :p

Meaning if you are not in a squad that is covering each other and keeping a Medic close by *solely as a medic* (as opposed to a self healing assault class) then it can really suck cuz you will winde up dead most of the time.

VOIP and good comms discipline is pretty much required.

The current v0.4 release is a lot of fun when played with folks committed to teamplay. Our upcoming release coutinues to .. we think .. shift the game play in the right direction. Should be out this month, at least that's what we're shooting for.

dying is probably the easiest thing to do in the mod and most people get really good at that right away.

What I would suggest is to get into a server that speaks your native language, and find a squad that is using VOIP well together. I am always in a squad using VOIP on ECGN(Since I am alwyas squaded up with the regulars).When I am not playing on ECGN, I can easily locate a squad that is using VOIP and working together. Simply join a squad and ask if they are utilizing VOIP. I typically don't have to look further than two squads to find a good one using VOIP.

In my history of playing BF2 Vanilla I would say about 20% of the players use VOIP.
When playing PRM, I would say that 75% or better use VOIP.

You definatly die a lot quicker, and can kill before they turn around, jump prone, and nail you with a headshot from 40000000m.

To be honest, you can find all this and more on some servers, just depends what sort of mood the prm folks are in that day :P

More evidence of teamwork is to just read around these forums. Ask anyone here, they have all had some of the best teamwork experiences they have ever had from any game with PR. Its just because of the folk who play it!
