The Desert Conflict (http://www.desert-conflict.org/) mod team is back today showing off their latest update. Take a look:
I just wanted to show you guys something I've been working on in addition to my normal PR duties. There isn't enough for a news or journal, really, so I thought I'd just post here. As I said in the other thread that C-LOKE started (http://www.desert-conflict.org/forum/showthread.php?t=5398), I'm working on the mini-map icons, and HUD icons for the vehicles. I still have some tweaking to do, but I'd still like to show you, and maybe get some feedback.
I decided to do something different with the HUD icons rather than having the boring, bland, two-toned poop-brown icons BF2 uses. Hopefully, it works out, and you guys like it. I'm also working on the mini-map icons. I'm trying to create these as close to DC's as I can, cuz for me, it just make it feel more like it with them.
This one is for the M1A1. I used a different perspective just to see how it works. This is of the A-10 Thunderbolt. You can see both the HUD icon, and the mini-map icon for it. Look familiar?
