The guys over at DevFile.com (http://www.devfile.com/) recently had the chance to conduct an interview with some of the US Intervention (http://usi.jarhedz.com/) mod team about their upcoming release. Take a look:

^Slick: How have these affected the gameplay?

Jarleif: If you remember in the first release attack helicopters could lock on to any tank. The tank driver had no hope of surviving against them. Even if he bailed the helicopters would nail him with rockets. The new countermeasure if used properly can save your life. It works a lot like the planes countermeasures and it can even break the lock of the missile after it has been fired

SlayerDarkCross: If you’re on the right part of the map our new AA systems will save your life.

Jarleif: Yeah...or take it away

^Slick: Have you had trouble at all balancing any of these?

Jarleif: Not yet...our newest AA needs a little more testing

SlayerDarkCross: We have about 5 new classes of vehicles that balance out the gameplay. Many people will remember the problem the M2A2 Bradley caused with balancing we have the BMD-2 to counter it now.

I really like this mod, but many friends had trubbles playing, hope next installer will be work fine

I was about to say the exact same thing Troybob. The smoke trails look extremely realistic. (Not that I have ever seen one fire) :cool:

Great looking models guys. Looking forward playing the next release (wish ppl would stop caring for meaingless stats and start playing quality mods like USI)

Seems like you guys post your news on the News Sties before on your own. Well great job on the BM-21 smoke effects, I wish I could test them with you but my BF2 is still not working..

Srry bout the site maintenence..........were currently working on a new one that ins't such an eyesore lol..........but ya you should see those rockets fly man..wolfi did an incredible job on all the new effects for V1.5...you truly wont believe your eyes.
and you can also use the smoke trails to hunt down you enemy.it's a blast.

Unfortunately the BF2 particle limit strikes back, means some of them disappear randomly but you wont notice it that much :) Thanks for the comments, cant wait to release it and play with you guys :cool:
