hmmmm i am going to build a computer for scratch to play crysis on but i only have a budget of £400

Processor : AMD Athlon x2 5600
Motherboard : Asus M2N4-SLI
RAM : 2.0GB Kingston DDR2 667mhz (2x 1GB)
NVidia GeForce 8600GT 256MB
Case : Sagitta Raidmax Sagitta Gaming Case ( PSU 500W )
Vista Premium

people have said that the case i want, isn't good enough, as the psu is not very good. is this true.. do i need a better case?

also, how will i play crysis? med?

and how will i play crysis with a 8800GTX ( will get that later on )

will anything provide a bottleneck in my system?

400 is enough to play crysis...... if you read and watch the interveiws....

Bare Minimum: E6300 (the old one)/X2-4800
Bare Minimum: 6800 GT, sli prefferable/X1800

Finally, a 8400 and E2400 (the really really budget low end one) with a gig of ram have run the game at medium settings, with the occasional crash, at GDC07 - Asia. This is a screenie of what it looked like:

( i got all the info from there.... look at the last screen shot.... that is wht a 8400 and a E2400 looked like...... i think £400 will def be enough

That is good for a low end system, wonder how many FPS though.

yes that is why it in minimum system requirements..... a 5200 and a 8800GTS and 2 GB of ram .... will be able to play crysis max i have heard ..... or very high .... ( in an interview, he said that a 8800GTS will be able to max the game out ) ... do any of you know that crysis is highly optimized and you won't need £1000000000 super machine to run it ......

Yea max it out at 1024 res. Core 2 Duo all the way. Theres no doubt they are much faster than the X2s.
