Alone having VOIP problems???

my voip works like 50% of the time...... before it always worked, now i go in and it dont.... it does the same thing to my friend, sometime it gets fixed when I restart the CPU and sometimes the restart doesnt change a thing....

anybody would have an idea on how i could troubleshoot this or anybody had a similar problem or finally, is there games where the voip is not activated....??

What is the make/model of your audio card? If it is motherboard integrated, please list the make and model of the motherboard.

When it doesn't work, is it disabling itself in the OPTIONS/CONTROLS/AUDIO area?

its a realtek high definition audio.... (dont know if thats what you wanted) but my headset works fine with everything else: msn, xfire, etc

yesterday i played and it worked, probably it sometimes didnt cuz i was in a server with voip disabled.... where can you see if its enabled??

log into your game. In the BF2 menu go to OPTIONS then AUDIO and then down the right hand column there is an X box for Enabled. X is on, and the absence of the X is off.

Your card is a known issue with BF2. Here is the relevant pages from EA. One describes your issue and some probable fixes, the other is the specific fix I want you to try.

u can tell if a server has voip enabled when on the right of the server name, u see an icon that looks like headphones (in between the ranked server icon and the pb icon)http://www.imlin.com/laaag.jpg
