Blinking screen???

well i have a 19'' LCD monitor and at randow it blinks like 4 times at least like 2-3 times aday. it goes from whats on the screen to black like 4 times like i said. not really sure what it is. any suggestions?? or anyone else have this problem

faulty power supply, bad video connection, try a different rig...... Then RMA it

Faulty power supply on the monitor I think he means. It also could be a bad signal coming in from the card. See if there si a specific software profile for your monitor from the manuf. website and load it up. May help if there is one.

ya i was thinking of that but i have had this monitor for over 6 months and this just started happening like a week ago.

power supplies can go bad, and the only reason I say the same as Rogue is it does answer the question to what is causing your symptom. True it is only a chance, but the only other ideas I'll have will be grasping at straws unless something else gets mentioned that shines a light on a different item of hardware or software.
