I just updated my AVG Free client to the latest version and it detected Crysis Beta as a virus!!
This is what it detects in Crysis - Obfustat.QEJ as a virus!!

I would ignore it. If you got your beta from a trustfull source you shouldn't think about this little thing.

Yes and talking about a possible virus within the application is NOT breaking the NDA laws.

Dont worry about it, its just a bug, every software has bugs. can you remember when McAfee Anti Virus seen the game "Matrix Path Of Neo" has a Virus? but it wasn't. just disable your AVG while playing the game until a patch has come out for it.

When the security of people or their property is in danger, uw allowed to break rules, especially merely commercial rules. Thx for the heads up man!
Watch more Law and Order guys, newest episode is Crysis and Tha Viris :rolleyes:

AVG has been reading alot of false positives here lately.. ignore it and remove AVG and get you something better like NOD32.. you get what you "pay" for remember that.

Yea if AVG says something HAS a virus it's wrong. It's when AVG says they're aren't any viruses that you should be worried. : )
