helicopter delays a little exaggerated...who wants to waste thirty seconds of their life sitting there waiting for the rotors to speed up on their bf2 helicopter??

Uh.
Hum.
Maybe you're right. I vote for 28 seconds.

Might not be your kinda mod / game then. Not saying it's the most exciting thing in the world lol .. but some of us cringe when we jump into a "cold" helicopter and are flying away at 200 knots 5 seconds later... they just don't work like that.
From a game play perspective, what we striving for in PR is where folks will gravitate towards specialisation. Perhaps not for every round nor for even an entire round... but instead of hopping out of a helicopter to join into an assault, we'd prefer to see folks staying with the pilot role until the equipment supply is exhausted or the round ends.
Having a long warmup time is more realistic and helps further the "specialisation" goal.
But again.. some folks won't like that.... it's a niche mod in terms of game play appeal and we're ok with that.

well I understand ppl saying 30 secs is too much but then again ppl will have more time to enter the heli! =) and if u dont like the heli then what about stop flying it.. =)

Some very cool and inovative stuff there guys, great work! :)
Everything in the videos looked like fun apart from the heli spin up and the AT reload. But as you said it is a niche gamestyle and i'm cool with that, as each mod brings something diferent to the table and PR is definitely unique in that dept. :)

its being released on the 8th of feb (tommrow :p) so get your download program ready :p ;)
Also the Heavy AT reload time may seem long, but they can do some much damage to a tank etc they need to be like that (normaly will kill them in 1 hit, or disable its turret/tracks if not that). Also in real life it would take quite some time to reload a AT lancher like that, not a simple chuck onto the ground and anouther one pops up like the animtion is at the mo, if we could we would have a really long reload anmation to go with it but we ummm, dont have animator *hint* *hint* ;)
also stay tuned for a update today guys if you are lucky ;)

Yeah, that is a new video as well. It is part of the "copy real life stuff in Project Reality" series. It is unknown whether special effects were used to enhance the video. (I could not find out) Except for the sound of course.

Maistros (or a dev) stated that the "special effects" were just that.
Editing.
