I know my rig isnt the best but I was hoping it would play crysis nicely on low but it doesnt. I get rainbow colored artifacts and horrible lag, about 10 FPS lol. I'm not really sure why I get artifacts :/ (specs in sig)

Yeah I get the rainbow crap too. Eveything's yellow or green. And eveything lags. Even the main menu. Welcome to 8800Ultra/Quad Core world...

The only thing that is letting you down on your rig is that gfx card. Anything with a GS next to it usually indicates its a low performer.

Anyway its a BETA and its only 20% optimized.

my 7600 runs it at 30 FPS no issues, its yellow when i start it up be then it goes away quickly

my bad I posted it this at school :p I didn't have time to check others.

Im running like at 5-10 FPS on this last client I was runnig around 30 FPS with client 2

lol im runing crysis low about 20-30 fps and i get no problems just a little lag when in cloack or any1 else and a little frame drops.
3200 amd 2.2 ghz
1 gb ddr ram
ati radeon 9550 256mb agp

Im running everything on high... but Im only getting 15-25 fps. If I change ANY settings off of high, the game wont run. Either I get nothing but artifacts, or the game just stays black.

It's funny how everyone defends Crysis right away because they bought their rigs for it and now found out the truth...it's made by EA :)

That you're going to need to top-notch rig to play this amazing game on all high? I really think that if you only just figured that out after playing the beta, YOU'RE the one to blame, not EA.

It's not made by EA, its made by Crytek. EA are just the publishers.

See? Crysis sucks. And I know all of you are going "FFS its a beta n00b *facepalm loololol". Well, not much changes when the retail game comes out. You can see by the beta that a game sucks. Crysis may look good, but the gameplay sucks. I mean, capturing factories in MP? Might as well call it freakin' Crysis 2142. All you do is cap CPs.

CoD4 will own this overhyped piece of trash :nod:.

Oh and it doesn't matter if EA are the publishers. Have you ever seen a good game made by EA (optimized and supported for more than 4 months)? Didn't think so.

I haven't bought a rig for it......my old BF2142 rig runs it fine. It runs fine unoptimized and its great. I'm going o laugh at all of you when the retail comes out and its AWESOME

Yea i jsut wanted a computer that would last me a few years into college. Crysis was just something nice that came along that i can run.

He meant that Battlefield (developed by dice/EA) didn't change from beta to detail.

The color problems will go away in 10-15 min if you go on an almost empy server and wait... Happens to me every time I reinstall, but goes away too.

Also, I am very disappointed with the gameplay and I know it's still a beta...
Half the time you're just roaming around in a full server trying to find someone to kill, and when the tank comes, well, let's just say there is no way to run from or defend or do any damage to it unless you have an anti-tank kit.
My best guess is the game is gonna rock for SP, but kinda suck for MP

p.s. it's just a personal opinion so don't flame me for it

Yeap. Just smaller map sizes will dramatically help the game play. Or keep the same size but more players (won't happen).

I prefer the bigger map sizes - gives you more possibilities.
Nothing worse than those tiny run and gun maps. Totally boring.

COD 4 multiplayer will be much better than Crysis multiplayer, thats a sure thing.
Not that much changes from a beta to final...overall. It might run a BIT smoother...but not that much. You'll see, I'm never wrong :rolleyes:
