Hello all,
First off I owould like to give my PC info:
512MB nvidea Gforce
windows xp pro
1024mo space
I can write more but that is the basic info.
Now I have 2094.00 mo being used by BF2...how is that possible since I only have 1024mo?
I have no expansions such as SF.
Now the question is...can I have PR on my PC and it will still run right?
My PC has only froze once.

I'm confused by 1024mo space. Thats probably your ram and that is sufficient. Go get PR and enjoy the fun. If you want the exact specs of your pc go to Start>Control Panel> System
Basic info in gereral, more advanced info in hardware.
It sounds good enough

1Go ram!
Ohhh and does anything change on the m16a2?
And I was wondering...do alot of people play PR? And can I go back and forth from BF2 and BF2PR so I can play both...if so how?

Yes, you will be able to play the game with those specs. You will be tweaking with graphics settings for a bit until you get the right levels. You will find PR is more needy of your hardware than vanilla BF2, so be prepared to drop some settings.

The PR team have attempted to push the envelope to an imaginary barrier where they assume the greater proportion of players will have machinery to cope. Introducing new features, new statics, new anything they can and then playing the maps over and over to make sure they have got the balance right. the retail (vanilla) version of BF2 is not so much optimised as hardware easy.
There are some bugs with PR right now which can effect performance issues. Do not worry too greatly about this as this happened with a previous major releae and within a week or two a server side patch was made available then as it will in this occurence which will ease performance issues.
Start playing after reading the player guide and explore the new features, learn the changed physics and ballistics, the bleeding out and necessities for squadwork and teamwork and as time progresses you will not look back!

No you don't need the expansions or the boosters all you need is the original (its reffered to as vanilla commonly) Battlefield 2, oh and the PR client that you download obviously.

I would imagine on low graphical settings you could get away with 512MB of RAM... you'd need to fiddle with your settings to optimise it of course. Though an upgrade to 1Gb or more would be advisable.

Ohh vannila is bf2 I got patch 1.41 do I need to take that out??? HELLLLLLLP!!!
[BF2]Bonsai
02-13-2007, 11:32 AM
NO!
The current Version 0.506 requires Battlefield 2 with the Patch 1.41 installed.
Then download the mod. (1.6 GB!!!)
Uninstall all previous versions.
Install Project Reality 0.506.

then what? Save under bf2....?
Just save it and install it. It's no different to any other program.

then what? Save under bf2....?
Save it to desktop, install it, then delete the downloaded file after you've played it once. The amount of ram/quality of your video card only affects how nice your gaming experience will be. More ram and a better card = smoother gameplay. Also depends on your processor and how full your HDD is. PR is hella fun if you get on the right server, but it quickly turns into a nade fest in some areas of some maps (*cough*EJOD DESERT, RUIN FLAG!*cough*)
Don't be too worried about "messing up" when installing PR. It's just another program you can install on your computer, which means you can uninstall and reinstall it in case you happen to mess something up.

DO NOT delete the installation file!
Save the vanilla BF2 patch 1.41 and PR v0.506 to a dvd-rw for possible reinstallation if everything go wrong in the future. Then change the files on the dvd-rw as and when new patches/builds for either come out!
