The Point of Existence 2 (http://www.pointofexistence.com/) mod team is back today with their latest update. Here's what they had to say:

We’ve received numerous requests to make available the music used in POE:2 as a soundtrack like we did with our first mod. Our developer from France that goes by the name of ”Busy” has been kind enough to provide his work to download HERE (http://www.pointofexistence.com/newsimages/news94/POESoundTrack.8.rar). Thank you “Busy” for your time and effort with providing music for POE:2!

It’s been a while since we’ve shown any work done by “Nello”. Over the last couple of weeks he’s returned to the team which allows us to show off his latest work. For the pilots flying for Ukraine, mostly the helicopters pilots please beware of a new threat coming soon for POE:2. The FK 20mm was suggested by one of the fans HERE (http://www.pointofexistence.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1401) which we thought was a good idea. Even though the gun might have been phased out officially in real life this shows the flexibility that we have.

Up next will be work-in-progress screenshots of maps being developed. First group of shots consist of a map that “Ga-Knomboe Boy” is working on. He hasn’t named it yet but the action will take place just off shore. Just wonder “who” will be coming ashore in the battle. Guess we’ll wait and see in future news post to show “who” that might be. If it took you guys 3 years.. to find that, and now just make it. And go for it..

That shows your lack of listening to the community

Yah urban map for POE2. I only wish there were more servers when I try to play it. I love this mod but have trouble finding any servers to play on.

@Bubbl3s -

I usually leave comments like yours to the wind but this time I won't. Just because it takes time for things to get developed doesn't mean we don't listen to the community. A matter of fact, the person that had made a lot of the suggestions in the forums was brought on to the team to help with our R&D team as a military adviser due to the amount of informed and helpful suggestions he had provided - unfortunately this person was brought on and then "disappeared" from being online. Hopefully he is physically ok but we don't know and removed him from the team roster after 6 months of not hearing from him.

We add things as we feel fit and within the time lines we have. Just like any development team we have to make decisions on what gets added and what gets cut for many different reasons.

Since I write the news posts for our team I thought it was still important to point out that something that was suggested by a "fan" was added - even if it took a while to get it into the game itself - you can only put "so" much content into a build before a decision is made to get things released.

@The others - thanks for the positive comments and rest assured that the team is back to doing their thing. A lot of stuff is being worked on so stay tuned!

Sincerely,

~Hathcock

So when do we find out "who" it is and get to see some of these urban maps?
