Five people are set to win free copies of the much anticipated action game, Battlefield 2142, in a competition being run by an online forum dedicated to the game.
(PRWEB) April 17, 2006 -- Five people are set to win free copies of the much anticipated action game, Battlefield 2142, in a competition being run by an online forum dedicated to the game.
Set in the year 2142, when much of Earth has been covered in a new ice age and the human race must fight for possession of the last remaining pieces of land, the game in the latest in the popular Battlefield series from EA Games, and is due to be released in October 2006.
Until then, all members of the Battlefield 2142 community at www.bf2142.us have to do to win a free copy is to tell the forum administrator why they think they deserve one – and to clock up 500 posts before the official release date of the game.
"The closing date for the competition is May 30th, but we're giving members up until the game is released to make their 500 posts," commented an administrator. "The competition has already attracted the interest of our members, and we're sure that interest will grow as more details are released about Battlefield 2142.
"The winners will have their copies of the games shipped out to them as soon as it is released, so if anyone would like to play Battlefield 2142, I'd urge them to head over to www.bf2142.us, tell us why they deserve to win, and get posting!"
Battlefield 2142 allows up to 64 players to join in combat on the field, or work behind the scenes. It’s launch has been greatly anticipated by the gaming community, and www.bf2142.us are amongst the first to publish news and developments as the game nears completion.
