Do you think that stats/accounts will carry over?
Again the question is do you think, not what you want.
I want to see what the majority of the people think will happen with them.
I reall hope they dont carry over becaue I want to get rid of this noob clans tags.
I dont think they will carry over simply becasue it would not be easy to attract new people to the franchise is everyone else has guns and unlocks already.

i voted yes only for the fact that i still want my name, but i would like to start fresh with the stats, just because I'd prefer to start on a level playing field, or as close as possible.

In my personal opinion i reall think that stats, and medals should not be included, but i would like a singleplayer in which i can use to unlock weapons, that i can use online...

I love they stats because they add an RPG element. In BFV you could play all the time and own but have nothing to show for it. In BF2 thats not the case hence why I like that stats medals and badges.

Personally, I'd rather have my rep known through voice, not numbers, although I do like seeing how may knife kills I have :D.
But good points were made, and I do think that the stats will not be carried over.

Its hard to get a rep when your not in a clan and there are 40'000 players.

I agree, which is why I still support the current ranking system, though I do believe a rep gained through people talking about you is more genuine.

I don't think that they will be brought over. I don't see a need for them to bring the stats over.

I doubt it. If stats carried over, I think they would've announced it. Then again, if it did carry over...it would be a major selling factor. ;)

if they do carry over im still making a new account, why wouldi want my old stats, its for a different game, all the knife, C4, assualt, sniper kills are from bf2, shows nothing about ur 2142 skills its pointless having all the stats in bf2142 if u havet actially done it. only thing i might like is my rank, but nothing else,

No way, for obvious reasons: different game, different weapons & vehicles, different scoring system.

They are anti-teamwork. That's my biggest complaint with them. The only stat that matters is Wins/Losses. The rest is BS.

QFT. Most people only cared about getting that next shiney unlock rather then winning or teamwork anyway. Then again that's in every game that gives rewards based on points only.

most likely not as in interviews they said that their is now 43 ranks and you get them faster but there is alot more for the better players so it benifits everyone

Well in all the interviews and articles I've read they have said they have and are spending an enormus amount of time on blancing.
Also in one of the interviews I watched they said that the helipcoters are incredibly easy to fly, so to counter that they made the missles way weaker so they do not dominate(Like in BFV, Helipcopters way easy to manuver, and way to deadly).

I don't want them to, I was late getting BF2. When BF2142 rolls around my current set up will be ready, so I can hop on and hopefully be one of the top players from the start :D.

i think not because it wont be fair if the players above 400.000 points will be a high rank (if there will be ranks in bf2142) after just one minute of playing the game -_-

most people vote "yes" because they have worked/statpadded for it to hard, but EA and DICE have to think about the new players and less "experienced" players, I would like to straighten out my accuarcy for example, as a sniper i loved to shoot the SVD empty time after time. stats don't give a clear image about a skill, but a direction.

They do show skill. If someone has 530 hours(Like me) you know they are not a noob. Thats why I like the ranking system it lets you know wheather or not to follow someone around.
I dont want the stats to roll over because I liek starting from the bottem and working my way up through all the unlocks and what not.

Surprised nobody said that.......I mean it would be hard to bring PKM stats to a game with no PKM, right?

I voted No. But... maybe the accounts will transfer, so someone could have the same name. Not that stats though.. since it is dealing with two different times of warfare.

I've read that the choppers are actually really hard to fly.
This was taken from http://bf2s.com/2142/
Helicopters suck. Ugh. Well, mostly because they aren't helicopters anymore, they are this weird hybrid of chopper/jet that is very difficult to pilot and extremely unmanuverable. The gunner seat has also been deprived of the TV guided missle which is a major hinderance considering that the gun can't even scratch anything but troops.
I think it's good that they fly like shiet, means only the best pilots can use them to their full potenshol(sp) and all the noobs(me) who jump into one will either crash or get shot down quick

I guess we will have to wait till the demo. I herd they are really easy to fly but really weak. Who knows its only pre-alpha.
