Hello to whoever reads this, :)

In all of the BF games, the HUD hasnt really changed all that much. The look has basically stayed the same. You still have the basic components (health bar, ammo count, mini-map, etc...)

So, what im hoping is that they will created a new HUD thats more futuristic.

So, heres your chance to voice your opinions on this. What do you think they should add/change/improve/take out?

Ill start off I guess.....im not creative, but I thought it would be pretty cool to make the mini-map interactive or something.

EDIT: Im refering to the infantry HUD, forgot to mention that.

I think they are doing something to the hud not sure. Its not on my list if top things I hope they do with the game.

Something like the newest ghost recons HUD for their game. Looks hardcore in that game.

dont have a problem with the hud at the moment, If they change well I wont mind.

I'd love to see the Deus Ex Invisible War HUD for health/ammo

'enter' should like now access a tablet computer with squad, weapons, command and map options as well as locational health, ammo and armour informations

What if you could custimize what you want shown and what you don't?
I would sort of like to personalize mine

I like that idea.. I would definitely like to customize my hud. I would also like to be able to choose the type of crosshair I use like in other games

In the 'options' menu, there should be a 'Customize HUD' tab. You can change the color, opacity, what you want to show and not show, sizing, and a click-and-drag thing where you can drag each item to any place on the screen.

I think that the squad leader should be able to see what his/her squad members are seeing like a small camera in the top left corner so they can see whats going around them i think that would add a little to the game but wouldn't drastically change the game play

Yea, but they should be able to toggle this feature.

The new Hud is great imo. It shows everything you need to know and not much that you don't. Looks nice and clean.

For some reason i cant view the videos on that site it doesnt buffer and when i try to dl it it just says it doesnt exist

Try the quick time versions, not the windows.

The new Hud is great imo. It shows everything you need to know and not much that you don't. Looks nice and clean.

I'm sorry I dont know what to tell you. I know how you feel though, I can't get any gamespot videos to work.

the only thing we will be able to customize will be the transperacies. a shame really, but i would like to see more information on the hud (distance, current ammo, current health (not in bars)) but the BF2 hud is almost perfect.

Free work, your idea is OK, i have an addion, if you press and hold a button the "squadsight" screen will pop up and when the commander will preform a scan, another small window will pop up with a birdeye's view.

But DICE will rush it so these features will be in the next game :p
