The Krackhouse.net folks are back with this new version of Desert Combat.

As with each other release of Battlefield and DC, I've published a Pilots Guide for everyone so you stop crashing jets on our servers. :)

I'll be adding to it as we all re-learn this mod, so check back!

The only hard thing Ive found so far is bombing. I can't judge how to aim/when to drop yet.

That's all in feeling it out. In the guide, I talk about using a hotbutton on your stick to look behind you and see where it drops. Do that consistently, and you'll be faster to get a feel for it.

Oh, and I've gotten in the habit again of shooting down helos and low flying bombers.

Tbh, Im not finding flying these things much more different from BF2. Speeds are a lot different course, and the AC130 is like a BH really. But all of the crazy evasions I used to pull in vBF2 work here too. Havent been shot down by an enemy fighter yet.

Training against J10s on Wake actually helps in this mod, I think.

Its just landing, and rearming...gah.

I think the planes are quite boring compared to Desert Combat and BF2, don't know why, but I think it's because the planes are too balanced :hmm:
