No Sound recording with Fraps!

Hey guys,

I have Fraps 2.8.1!
But when i record and replay the file in windows media player, there is no sound what so ever!

- I have record sound checked
- Detect best sound input checked
- Sound Device = SoundMAX HD Audio
- Sound Input = Stereo Mix

I am using my onboard sound for my ASUS P5B mobo!

Make sure Sound Input is "What U Hear"

Try other media players. It might be a codec problem. What file type is it recorded in?

oohhh, i see, i didn't have stereo mix checked!

I remember i had an issue with stereo mix with my old fraps, it use to come thru all crackily?

Plus i can not talk over my mic because once i check stereo mix the other one unchecks(microphone), i will try recording now, with the new fraps :)

EDIT* where about is 'what you hear?' option available?

And it records as AVI

This is weird, i make sure that stereo mix is checked, everytime i go to record, fraps must automatically change it? it kept changing to mic, so i took down mic as a recording instrument, and then it would just uncheck stereo mix?

And this is onboard sound, i think my momo doesn't support the 'what you hear' function :(
