How to fix arty...

since there is an obvious lack of spotting in DCon, what if in the next update there was a reward system for having you arty spot result in a succesful kill, something like Assisted Kill, it would make people have an incentive to actually spot more often... I think this is one of the biggest problems with the game.

Not really, people who use to play DC will understand how it works, and give it time when the full release of the mod is out. there will be ample of peiople who can play the mod properly.

I'm not a fan of points/ranks etc..However, I see your point.

If ANYBODY is having problems understanding how to use the ARTY system, plz visit our site and set up a time and date, and we'll walk you through it. In the meantime, plz review the DCon Arty wiki (http://desert-conflict.org/wiki/index.php/Artillery_System)

Why does not being a fan of the point system affect your view of this?? And this isnt a question of people being able to use the arty spot function its a question of people wanting to use it. So this would give some incentive. I think that the reason there aren't arty calls isn't because of a lack of knowledge, just people simply don't care.

in a later version of DCX the MLRS had a UAV it could drop and you could fly to spot yoru own targets. that was awesome in my opinion. it resolved the issue with people not spotting for you.

Perhaps give the AT players ability to Call in Atry, since this a lot of players play AT on maps that have a lot of armor, those maps being the ones that have Arty vehicles on them.
