Simple question

My question is simple. Is it is possible to use ef guns in regular bf2. i thought i might have to unlock them to play with them, but it seems i can only use guns like the famas and benelli m4 in ef maps. also, the mp7 isnt on my unlockable weapons list but the ingame respawn screen shows its silhouette in the engineer class tab. any ideas? tanks

You could get a mod to use the ef guns on vanillA.

Only the sniper and AT weapons are available as unlocks and only if you have run the SF expansion on your account and unlocked the level 1 unlocks for those kits. You don't need to install or run EF to get the unlocks. The MP7 is not an EF weapon; it is an SF weapon (for the SAS) and is also available as an unlock only if you have run SF and unlocked the level 1 unlock for that kit.
