lol yes they are although im a little dissapointed with the weapon sounds so far, they sound like a bunch of weak home electronic stuff.
I want to really feel like im firing the guns when im blasting left and right.
DICE should pump up the bass and echo, wouldnt cost them anything but only add much, much more to the whole gameplay feel.

Sorry, that's the only one I have hosted right now, are you using the latest version of winrar? I'm on 3.41 and it works just fine extracting them.

The insiders perspective (http://bf2s.com/2142/) from BF2s, perhaps a little jadded considering it's still in alpha, DICE make no qualms about "borrowing" the idea of having your stats availble on the web were taken from what bf2s created, they even said so in the gamespot interview.

I LOVED titan mode. It's super alpha quality right so the inside got really, REALLY laggy when there was too much going on, but once that is all worked out there are going to be some awesome indoor battles. I'm really looking forward to this aspect.

When I first saw the titan game mode trailer I never assumed the thing would be moveable, I'm not sure if it's an engine/network limitation but when they added lifts to the SF expansion those things are anything but a smooth ride, imagine trying to have a fire fight with that kind of jumpyness, people usually play on servers with pings anywhere from 50 up to 150 even 200, I've seen some servers running an auto kick for high ping players to keep things from getting too laggy. Is DICE really up to the task of pulling this off with their netcode? I'll be amazed if they can with everything else going on while having large battles on a moving platform, even with the 32 player limit set for Titan mode.

I think it would be equally fun if they were to implement this "Titan" game mode into more of a Siege vs Siege arena whre the ships didn't move but maybe you had more than one to take down, and different maps would have different stationary "Titan" designs, maybe even large castle like fortresses complete with huge walls you have to "pod jump" over to breach, with different objectives "destroy the super weapon" instead of taking down a generator.

Careful what you wish for, anything next gen at this point is going to be DirectX 10, which means Vista only and who knows when that will come out (http://today.reuters.com/business/newsArticle.aspx?type=technology&storyID=nN02271704), oh and all these guys who are spending mad cash on SLi video card setups will have to scrap them for true DirectX 10 compatiblity (http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/article.html?art=MTA0NSwxLCxoZW50aHVzaWFzdA==), nothing out right now uses the new "unifided graphics setup" that DirectX 10 will require.

On the sounds issue, I'd expect the final sounds to come in kinda late. Generally in a development you don't want to get too involved in your sound production until you're sure that elements are really going to be there. They are one of the easiest things that can be tweaked, but hardest to get *right* so they'll prolly be workin on 'em until very close to final release.

In other words, don't be suprised if they change.

On a related note... anyone notice that the death screams are significantly more bloody curtling? I didn't hear crys of "medic!" just "Ayaaaaaaaaaargh!".

Ya these screens are the best by far. They show the interface which looks updated and very good. I also think the new hud is very stream lined.

Nope, the rest of the screens are mostly boring, just the log-in/key config/server browser menus, wish there were some more shot of being in vehicles and of the inside of the Titan but beggars can’t be choosy.
