I need help with EOD installation and .rar file [Archive]

I have never added any modifications to my BF2 game but Eve of Destruction looks great and I want to add it on. If someone could walk me through setting this up on my machine, it would be greatly appreciated. I downloaded the EODV.1.0.rar file but I have no idea what to do with it now. Thanks

First, you need WINRar, or another app that extracts RAR files. If you already have it, Double click on the EOD.rar file, then Double click on the EOD Folder.

Inside you will see a File "EoD v.1.0.exe", double click on that and follow the instructions. It's pretty straight forward..Also inside the EOD Folder there is a shortcut(EOD BF2.lnk), don't forget to cut/paste to your desktop.

The first time I used the Shortcut, it didn't work, so I activated EOD through BF2. example - Load BF2, look for the Community Link on the BF2 main menu, then look for "custom game", on that screen you will see EOD, double click and that will activate EOD. The shortcut works, but I think the game needs to be loaded up once before you can use it, but I don't know for sure, nor do I know why it didn't work the first time.

When EOD is loaded, and your on the Multiplayer screen, don't forget to uncheck RANKED. There are no Ranked EOD servers(that I know of as of this post) so don't forget to uncheck RANKED.
