How to make stuff!!!

I had a look at Modelling, thought it looked awsome. Ofcourse, I knew it was alot harder than it looks but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. I looked at some freeware and got Blender.

It's quite advanced, and I don't know how to use it properly. I wanted to know, how the hell do I make guns and stuff lol?

Remember, I'm COMPLETELY BRAND NEW to modelling.
