Trying to play some EoD 1.1 in my native res but it seems to crash to desktop after starting and clicking multiplayer or single player
Anyone having success with EoD in 2560x1600? I can run other mods fine in this mode. I made a new launch icon and put EoD in the modpath. Any other gimmicks? It works in the highest res BF2 offers but its still looks crappy in comparison.
Gracias

Wow! What a Screen!
Have you tried putting the resolution in the path of the launch icon? I don't remember the exact layout of it, but I think you can play the mod in that resolution if you launch it from the icon with the screen resolution in the launch icon path.
Maybe someone else can post that up.

Try...
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 2650 +szy 1600 +modPath mods/eod_v1.1 +ignoreAsserts 1

Yes, looks like your image is being stretched to fit the wide screen. Putting the res on the command-line should make it cut the top and bottom of the image off instead (320 pixels total in this case). This is true for all wide-screen resolutions in BF2.

Damn doesnt seem to work. Game just crashes on launch back to desktop.
I add that command line to all my launch icons and they seem to work but EoD didnt have an icon so i copied a different one and tried this line.
Thanks for the input. ill have to live with bf2s largest native res for now

Make sure you use 2560 NOT 2650. And make sure there is a space before each + sign:
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 2560 +szy 1600 +modPath mods/Eod_v1.1 +ignoreAsserts 1
