Well...you as a PR developer should know that BF2142 would be the perfect engine for any mod due to the way they finally got the stances right and the subtle but important improvements in the engine with regard to transparency handling (which would be especially useful in eod which has a lot of foliage) and other stuff.

A "mod" is by definition a modification of a game without access to the source code so BF2142 is definitely not a mod.
