Hello fellow DCON fans, I wanted to take a minute to stop by to do a little modest bragging about our DCON server and to invite you to come and join us to play on the most popular Desert Conflict server out there according to www.game-monitor.com (http://www.game-monitor.com/)
I also wanted to let you know that due to player demand and the success of our first DCON that on May 18th we decided to add a second DCON server to host the CTF maps for the mod. This serve is now running and ready for players so feel free to stop by and join us any time.
Currently we average 29.3 players at any given time of the day on our first DCON server and about 40 plus during peek gaming hours, however since the CTF server was just setup on May 18th I do not have any specific stats to brag about for that server.
But seriously folks, if you guys are looking for a great DCON server that always has players on where you can go to game with out being hassled by stupid rules or by childish admins then you need to stop by and check us out.
Our servers are hosted on dedicated boxes that we lease from MYIS and are located in Chicago so the pings for most players should be good. I also know that depending on the time of day you will find quite a few players from US, Canada & the UK as well as other countries on at the same time so there is always quite a diverse group of players on the server.
Both servers offer VOIP and we are considering turning on the Battle Recorder to them provided it does not cause any lag issues when the servers are full.
