Any download links support resuming?

My parents won't let me run a wired line from the living room, so I am forced to use wifi, and it constantly disconnects, thus disabling me to finish large downloads.

Does anyone know which links will support resuming?

Why not try sorting out you wireless connection first..

Have you tried changing channels in case you're picking up interference?

Yeah but I have problems with modjive downloads being corrupted.

If you can afford $6.95 a month you might want to get a paid account with File Planet.

I am kind of old school so I am not big on using download managers, however I must say the one you get with a paid File Planet subscription is fairly nice to use and it will resume file downloading if you close or loose your connection.

I don't have issues with loosing connections so what I did was opened the manager program that I got with my File Planet account. Then I started the download and let it run for a few minutes. After about 3 minutes of letting it download the files,I killed both my internet connection and I closed the program to see if it would continue where it left on when I reconnected my internet and launched the download manager again I will be dammed if it did not pick up right where it left off.

If you can’t afford $6.95 every month you might want to see if you have a friend or clan mate that will let you use their account to download the mod files you want. I never read this crap however I am pretty sure File Planet user agreement has rules against sharing your account or something like that however I seriously don’t think you will have any problems provided you both don’t try and log in at the same time using the same account with two different IP’s
