Everyone's favorite. Well, at least MY favorite aircraft..............

A4Skyhawk. A staple of the US Navy and the Marines for many years.
Not sure yet how I will configure it. It CAN carry Sidewinders, Mk82's and even CBU's (Rockeye's).

All aircraft are currently within v1.2 of EoD. They are Works in Progress but are flyable and function properly. Look for them on a Runway near you soon!

wow, looks great!!! i suppose this also means some new maps, maybe some recreations of original bfv maps?

Oh, looking good there. And Eagle 18, if I find you online playing EOD...we could make a hunter killer team using the F-4 and the A-4. :)

I may be wrong,but the early phantoms did not carry a vulcan cannon or any sort of cannon. They relied purely on missiles.
In Battlefield vietnam it had no cannon or machine guns only AA missiles and bombs.

are the missles heat seeking or dumbfire (and if it said it somewhere sorry i didnt see)? and definitely napalm. no F-105's or A-1's ?

I have an F105, but it is an old model. I am trying to get a newer updated model done. The F105 is from our BFV/42 release and is very dated. It was the very first airplane I put into BF2. It does fly nice, but lacks alot of detail.

We also have a SkyRaider, but it too, needs some detailing.

As for the missles. Heat Seekers are what they currently are. We do have some napalm. It is still a WIP, but it does work.

ARVN and Aussie armies are still WIP's. Vic has alot of the leg work done on them, but we need to get a whole new set of weapons for them and some vehicles. Other than that. The character models are in progress.

I hope to be posting up some news with a big update here in the next few days.
