It's really a toss up with the knife though. It's so easy to knife people in BF2 cause there's so much going on. And it only takes one good swipe. Never have to reload. Never run out of ammo. Hehe.

AK-47 is the only good AK.

So AK-47, M16, L85A1... ftw.

M16 is probably the overall best though.. well so is L85A1 (the thing that makes it bad is it's randomness.. You get tons of kills with it some days, other the bullets just don't hit.)

M16 is always the same. 2 to the body or 1 to the head (bursts).... And it has a 900 ROF... which is what makes it one of the best close up guns in the game.. only the FAMAS beats it imo.. lol

I voted the SVD. When considering my choice I factored in reliabilty, accuracy, and rate of fire. In the hands of an experienced player the SVD is one sick gun.

I secound that vote, svd to me is the most usfull gun in the game... I have played many hours of bf2 and played a range of weapons but the svd is the only gun i now feel i can go up against any onther weapon and win 8 times out of ten(close combat and long range) I dont spam the svd like some people eaither its allways controlled shots of on shot to the head or two quick shots to the body then switch to the side arm, works for me because i have many hours with the svd and if you play 400 hours with any other weapon then that weapon will be the best weapon in the game.(if ya know what i meen)

It is a gay thread because I wouldn't mind half of the guns listed above depending on which kit I feel like playing with at the moment. Good players don't stay with one kit. They play all the kits equally, and therefore it's hard to chose a favorite gun. Maybe top 5 favorite guns out of all of those would be easier poll.

Actually better poll would be which is your favorite weapon from each kit, for example for sniper m24, m95 or L96 and so on for each class.

-L96 when I play sniper
-L85 when I play medic
-jackhammer when I play engineer
-g36c when I play spec ops
-pkm when I play support
-F2000 when I play assault
-DAO12 when I play anti tank

Now, to select one out of the above 6 would be same as having to pick a favorite class which is a hard choise because good player should like and be able to play all the classes equally well, not just one.
Conclusion: It is a dumb poll.

It also rock in AA, but in BF2 you can't hit jack $hit with it, its' accuracy sucks. PKM, RPK and MG36 are much better LMG's, even the stupid chinese MG is more accurate than the SAW.

The PLA MG is EXACTLY the same as SAW just with 100 less bullets.
The argument is that the SAW sucks, not that the PLA LMG whatever it's called doesn't suck. Everybody knows that the PLA LMG sucks and that's why nobody plays it, and that's ok, that's allowed, but the SAW to suck is simply unaceptable and EA should be ashamed of the way the screwd up its' physics.

The MP7, it just makes an awesome noise when you shoot it, like a miniature door gun. I like moving down clumps of people with it, or doing "crowd sprays"

I don't know what it's called..

But it's the Chinese Anti-Tank Default weapon. That thing is a frikin' BEAST and a half. It seems to kill anything, at any range, with such ease and power.

I'm being serious, go and try it, you'll be very suprised.
