Rank titles in BF2142?

Anyone find out the actual titles and rank structure for BF2142. Looking for the USMC equivalent found in BF2. This is for ranking up and unlocks. Thanks

Nah thats one of the things they have been tight liped about.

They were very tight liped about teh jets until that last article so maybe soon they will shed more light on this as well.

I think they were so tight liped about the jets was becasue they did not want to upset anyone so soon lol, I was happy myself.

Yeah, as Mr.Benis said, there will be many ranks in BF2142. The reason for it is because there are many "noob" ranks, I'm thinking they will turn seargent into two ranks, etc.. This is to make sure that it is easy to gain the first few of the 40 unlocks. You will probably unlock the first 7-10 easily, and have to work from then on, so choose wisely. Since I don't plan to get the game until I've read a review about it. This is probably the most intelligent path, since I don't want to waste my money, as an alternative, I may get Quake Wars instead of BF2142, but only if BF2142 gets a worthless rating. :D

Make sure you check THESE forums for the rating of the game. We're pretty critical of the game, and it's still over 2 months until the game is released.

They should be based on what european armys have as ranks and titles with a few made up ones to fill the holes:D

sorry you look like a smart guy but i gotta correct you...it's 43 ranks and 40 unlocks...ik the 2 first ranks lol private an private first class

But the european union is not just one country inh europe.

Also, there is the PAC as well so you have to consider those ranks.

Most armys have the same ranks and titles with a few differences so you take all the europe ranks and the most common ranks you add to the game then add in some PAC ranks and a few made up ones:D

And i seem to remember the MEC/pac being the same as the american ranks in BF2 so i assume which ever ranks they have will be on both sides any way:D

Its pretty easy actually, just make all the current names futuristic. Private=Alpha Class
Private First Class=Templar Class or something
And oh, add ubar in front of ranks, like in germany.
General= Ubar Fuher

It seems that only 2 ranks are known right now with a total possibility of 43 ranks total. Hopefully the rest will surface rather soon.
