There is a new media update posted today over at the Desert Conflict (http://www.desert-conflict.org/) mod website showing off some more maps. Have a look:
As I stated in the other news posting, once I got confirmation of the other maps that will make the release, I'd get you some sneak peaks. Things are progressing nicely. As Door stated in another post, RC5 hit the testers' hands. Nothing's melted, so we'll be out very soon. I'm in the process of getting together a change log for v.1 to v.15. I'll get it posted as soon as I can. That way, everyone knows what changes to look for, and can make suggestions for tweaks accordingly.
The first map I want to show you is called Desert Sabre. It's a creation by Kiff along with Desert Conflict map that I showed you last time. The maps have a similar look to them, but a very different feel. Desert Conflict map has a wide range of vehicles at your disposal, while Sabre is more focused on ground combat with a few attack choppers. There will also be a version that is strictly armor, and Domination and Capture the Flag game modes are available as well.
The second map is called Nuclear Power Plant. This map has a lot of cover and buildings for some intense firefights. It is an intense, cramped urban/infantry map, but there is also some open areas for armor fighting. Conquest and Domination game modes are available, with CTF coming in a later release. It's a map made by =tGA=Harry. He's also the man behind the map Close Quarters that I featured last time around.
