Hello

I Have A Quick Question for You All!
Have Any of You Used Team Speak or Rodger Wilco For Communication Over Bf2?

If So, Who Was The Experience With It And Did You Have A Preference Between The Two In Setup And Use?

Thanks for Your Time and Help!

I didn't even know rogerwilco still existed.

Team speak and vent is all I have used, I prefer vent over TS.
Both work fine for BF2

Exactly my thought, but I prefer teamspeak over vent for 2 main reasons: vent uses more processing power and vent has a rather annoying beep everytime you hit the activate mic button(I could probably turn that off, but hey, I don't use vent remember).

Wow... Flashback! I haven't heard of Roger Wilco since--when?--since I played Space Quest!! (It seems like the 80's, but that's not possible, so it must have been the early 90's.)

Last time I heard about it was when counter-strike was just a left handed mod for half-life.

We use TeamSpeak primarily because there are better permission/admin settings for it.

Vent does have superior voice quality though.

I have never heard of that other program before.

Can someone explain me why are the above listed better than the built in one that comes with the game?

The built in one works only in the server while TS can work outside of the server and outside of the game. It also has better quality. People say Vent has better quallity but for me TS works fine.

mostly vent, there are about 7 active voice servers i bounce around in depending on my mood and who i wanna play with and only 2 of them are TS, both instlled but yea vent more, yes quality is better, more functions/options and really the proc power useage is quite nominal

They both suck, Ventrilo FTW! It's cleaner, easier to use, and has more functionality than TeamSpeak. Not to mention it sounds much better.
