big problems here:

First of all my comp which has vista home premium isnt detecting tht bf2 is installed but the files say othewise. also i thought a reinstall might do the job but it turns out it doesent even reinstall. Now it isnt install shield cos tht works fine wif other games.
Next
All tht aside it still plays suprisingly but not suprisingly it ctds everytime i click on a server


Would really appreciate ure help

First download and run this,

then make sure you have the latest Vista drivers for all your hardware and try the game again.

You need to set the InstallPath value in the registry. Do a search.

It seems you attempted to install from a non-administrator account.
