Is it worth it?

Recently I am going to have to buy BF2 again, and I was wondering is it worth buying the booster packs? (special forces, european force & armored fury)

I would be buying all three and BF2 for $50.00 from Best Buy. I would like to know if it is worth buying them all rather then just buying BF2 for $15.00.

I know that Special Forces gives you more unlocks, which I will be needing.

Might be a little late to chime in here, but get the complete set. I find I play the **** out of SF now and very little vanilla. If I am in the right mood, I will seek out UTAC to play some AF/EF maps. It is worth it just of the variety.

Another old myth constantly repeated. There are not and never were "free" unlocks. After you play SF you get 2 unlocks at each rank. The so-called free unlocks only happened for people who had already played SF and were at least Sergeants when EA added the 2nd unlock slots at Lance Corporal and Corporal right before the 1.2 patch added the new AT and sniper unlocks.

You can get the bf2 complete collection which has all of the xpacks and bf2 in it for around 20-30 bucks at gamestop and bestbuy.

my local walmart has complete collection for 39bucks, if you play vanilla the expansions are good to have.
