.2 wish list

All, .15 is in the books, I hope everybody is enjoying it as much as I am. We are already in works to release a mini patch that will include fixes/tweaks, then we will focus more on our next major release, .2 whoohoo.
So here is the question(s), what would you like to see in .2 ? Plz keep in mind the goal of DCon. Also, keep it civil or your post will be deleted.

Questions to stay away from:
When is the next release: When I know, I promise I will tell you
What content (vehicles/maps/weapons) will be included: Again, I don't know

Mostly though I wanna see the Shilka and Vulcan put in. The mod really needs a reliable AA Vehicle at this point. After that, anything new or anything from DC makes me happy. Oh and of course keep on with those tweaks, I can't wait to see how the helos improve in the upcoming patches.

Alls I can say about the Vulcan, is that it is done, but it needs coding. As for the Shilka, well, I posted the new Models, it needs to be skinned and coded. I believe or at least I hope our guys can have those two sexy beasts up and running by .2.

I have never played a mod with one in it. Sure I've flown it in some sims but I would love to see how the DCon team handles it. Realistically though I still reflect what I said in the first post, reliable mobile AA is definitely needed more so than anything else.

Yeah that link has some nice pics zui. When I said longshot it wasn't because I didn't think the devs ever made it. I've been followin the mod since before bf2 release. It's why I bought BF2, in (hind)sight it would have been better to wait a lil, cause I never had a reason to use my bf2 for a long time.

So I know all about the intruder, I just want to fly it already hehe. Ever since I first saw that year an half ago or whatever. I haven't checked on the status of it for awhile though. It's like being reminded of what I can't have. I already got most things I really wanted in DCon from DC.

I dream of flying that thing in wake island conquest!

I don't think that will ever happen man. Heck, a lot of people including myself fighting to remove the whole darn thing. No alarm no lockon signal is the way to go :cool:

Since .15, this mod is without a doubt the best thing out for BF2. Why the numbers are so low is crazy. If you like this mod like I do, please support it by playing it.

As for the next release, your choices for .15 were so good, I say just keepo doing what your doing.

Oh, maybe new music from who ever does your menu and map songs. They are my favorite from this series. Who does those music bits? Can I download them somewhere, or do I just rip them from inside the game? :)

I downloaded this mod yesterday and there were no online servers on so i deleted it... its really too bad. i tried every possible scenario by checking and unchecking all the internet filters and still no servers show up. It's a pity really... :cry:

yea, it's closer to DC that way. No automatic warning telling you to take evasive action. You have to actually look around you, and find where they are.

Now, I'm not a great fighter, but I have gotten a few great pilots by surprise and killed them. Sure it was lucky, but it there was a warning, they'd have been long gone before I even got a shot on them.

I think it should be harder than BF2. If it takes more skill and concentration it'll improve everyone.

I second Basrah's Edge, and maybe the Twin Rivers map too, but that may have been from DC Final. Or Miday...that was always lots of fun, but you would need moveable battleships and we all know that the BF2 engine doesn't seem to handle those well. It could be a good air map though.

Well, the M82 .50cal is in the game as a pickup.

And sorry to tell you, but the M4 is not. It was replaced by the CAR-15.

CAR-15 is just about the same thing as M4, just some barrel changes, which you do not see btw, because of the silencer.
