well today i went to play this mod, it sounded good.

then when i got on, i only saw 2 servers with no one on them, did i do something wrong or is this mod new?

A new version of the mod will come out, current version probably doesn't much servers. You should use Game Monitor and check which mods are currently played by checking the servers.

As far as I know there are no servers running the current version. The new version is on the verge of being released. A news release was posted on the USI site today and will probably be on these forums by tommorow:

Ugh, how many times do you have to hear it until you realize that it's not ever going to happen... at least not "soon" like they all say... that was over a month ago! :dead:

Real life issues caused a delay in new videos being released and in work being completed. Believe when I tell you that this release is about to happen. USI v.15 is 99.6% complete.

You figured it out. The USI team has been busy the last year and a half creating fake in-game shots of new vehicles, weapons, maps, etc with photoshop instead of actually making the new version. The videos are complete fabrications as well. As a matter of fact, before play testing v.15 every Sunday over the last several months, I was eating 'shroom to fool myself into thinking I was playing .15 beta when I was actually playing vBF2.

I appologize to the community for the deception.

well its here now...and since then its been less than 15 people online playing it....
god damn it..this mod is way better than DCon for frak sakes...

Yeah, it's kinda disappointing... we've got the only Rush server and the most number of players on there has been 2... the other official BSS server is also pretty slow... give it a little time and maybe we'll get more into it.

Shoulda known this... BF2 community sucks. Everyone is after some ranks, COME ON! Ranks! Can't play any mods because there is absolutely no ppl online... EA ruined everything.

Dude... never. The whole community consists more of these hardcore statkiddies. They don't play because it's fun, they play because they want pointless stats. Only mod I can figure out, that has some chances, is FH2, because it has a strong community from 1942.

I liked USI when the first version came, it's like Bf2 Desert Combat. DCon doesn't have something, it feels much more amateurish than USI, usi feels like professional work. I haven't tried other versions than the first one, which I loved. Seems like I can't try the newer versions because there is 0 people online.

I just tried the mod... I friggin love it! The effects are top class, and the sounds! I left my character to the server... we'll see if people gets online when I come back from school.

It's a shame you haven't fixed the tank bug...

In Battlefield 1.0 the projectiles still launched from the correct places, mg from the mg barrel and sabot from the turret. Now it leaves from the middle of the hud, and as you can see it actually lifts off from the sight-thingy.

That can be fixed with changing the projectile start position. I am sure they will fix it.

Yup. This is fixed in FH2 mod too, so why not USI.

USI jacked up my computer.... I can't get rid of the .rar file and it won't let me scan my computer because that file is "corrupted." I can't delete it, rename it, or change any of it's properties. It's also considered dangerous and can harm my computer according to McAfee Security Center, HELL! Like it hasn't already. I tried unblocking the file and it auto blocks itself again. I can't open it with notepad cuz it's too big! And it won't open with Textpad cuz everytime I do I get this error: "Disk full while accessing usi.15_beta_full" Geez, thanks guys!

I'm sure this is more of a problem with your computer than it is with USI. It sounds like you've got overkill protection on your computer. Maybe you should try running in safe mode so McAfee Security Center won't load. Better yet, get rid of McAfee. You don't need it unless you're off surfing porn and warez sites.
